How Kalshi alerts work
- Describe the alert. Type what you want, such as "Email me when Bitcoin is above $100,000. Don't trade." The builder drafts an alert-only bot you can read step by step.
- Check the condition. Confirm the trigger, the market and side if it is a price alert, and the cooldown that sets how often it may email you again.
- Activate it. The hosted engine evaluates the condition on its polling cadence — no server, script or open browser tab on your side.
- Get the email. When the condition passes, the alert goes to your account's email address. Nothing is bought or sold.
