About Bot for Kalshi
Bot for Kalshi is software for automating a trading rule you write yourself on Kalshi. You describe the rule in plain English, read back the workflow the builder produced, test it in Paper mode against live prices, and decide whether it ever goes live. We are an independent company and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Kalshi.
What the product does
A bot here is a saved, inspectable rule — not a black box and not a signal service. The builder turns your description into a workflow you can open, edit, and re-read before anything runs. When a bot is live, the engine watches its conditions and submits orders through your own Kalshi API key.
One market at a time
A bot trades the single Kalshi market you point it at. There is no portfolio optimizer and no cross-market basket quietly opening positions you did not name.
Limit orders
Orders are limit orders by default, priced from the rule you set. You choose the price the bot is willing to pay rather than handing it a blank cheque at whatever the book is showing.
Caps you set
Contract count, spend, and stop conditions are your inputs, shown in the builder before you arm anything. The engine refuses trades that would break them.
Paper first
New bots start in Paper mode against live Kalshi prices. Going live is a separate, explicit step that requires your own API keys.
Non-custodial
We never hold your money. Funds stay in your Kalshi account, we have no withdrawal access, and you can revoke the API key from Kalshi at any time.
Inspectable history
Submitted orders and reconciled fills are listed in the app so you can check what a bot actually did, not just what it was supposed to do.
Who it is for
People who already have a view on a Kalshi market and are tired of executing it by hand. Typical users are Kalshi traders who want a rule watched around the clock, analysts who would rather write a condition than a cron job, and developers who could build this themselves but would rather not own the hosting, the retries, and the reconciliation.
It is a poorer fit if you are looking for picks, predictions, or a managed account. We do not tell you what to trade, we do not trade a pooled fund, and we do not claim an edge on your behalf. Trading prediction-market contracts involves risk, and past results never guarantee future ones.
How the company is run
Bot for Kalshi is an independently operated software company. It is funded by its subscriptions — there is no advertising, no order-flow arrangement, and no revenue share with any exchange or broker. What we sell is the software; what happens in your Kalshi account stays between you and Kalshi.
- Business model. A single self-serve subscription at $99/month. Payment is required up front, it renews monthly until you cancel, and the exact charge is shown before you pay.
- Custody. None. We are not a broker, exchange, or money transmitter, and we never take possession of customer funds.
- Support. Asynchronous, handled in writing through our support page, plus a free monthly group webinar with a live build and open Q&A.
- Change log. Product changes are published on the changelog, and platform incidents on the status page.
- Security. API-key handling and access practices are documented on the security page.
How we write about the product
Our guides describe what the product can actually do today, including where it stops. Supported inputs, refresh behaviour, and known gaps are stated in the app and in our writing; the in-app catalog is the authoritative list. When a page compares us to other tools, it says plainly that we publish it.
